How to manage Trips settings in TT2?

If Client / Supporter wants to manage Trips settings, please follow the procedure steps below.

Trips settings allow users to select a default trip type which will be set up for all trips for objects which do not have automatic trip type detection.

Required information:

Webuser login credentials

Steps:

1 - Login to the needed Webuser.

2 - Go to "Account settings".

3 - Press on "Trips settings" on the left side menu.

4 - Choose the needed trip type, time zone, days, and time period.

5 - Press "Save".

NOTE1: Webuser user type/role should be set to Administrator, otherwise he will not be able to manage Trips settings:

NOTE2: Some Clients may inquire if there is an option to select the exact vehicle and choose date and time period then the exact trip type would be applied for it. However, since this menu belongs to the general settings of the webuser, the option to filter out individual objects does not exist.

New feature estimation (NFE) can be suggested to Clients as an option (Business case must be provided).
