To delete the eco group user has to empty out the existing eco group from the objects that are inside that group.
To do that, search for objects that is inside targeted for deletion group, select them and then choose "Default group":
The group has to be empty to be eligible for deletion:
After doing these steps "Delete" button should now be active:
